Hotel Movenpick is one of only two five star hotels in Tangier. It features an excellent pool and restaurant, not to mention the adjoining casino. There are plenty of security people around at all times of night and day, so this is also one of the city’s safest places to stay. If you are traveling by car, this is an excellent location with safe, covered parking. Without a car, you’ll need taxis to get to most places in the city. The amusement park “M’nar Park” is about a 5 minute drive from this hotel and has rides and waterslides. The beach next door is popular in the summer with locals, but the water isn’t very clean. If you like the location but not the price, Hotel Tarik might be another option.
