Ok, I was amazed on how great this place was...

The rooms were just fine, but adding on top of it the complimentary morning breakfasts, the pool, the view of the ocean, the downtown location, and the best concierge (directed me to two of the best restaurants in town); this place was quite the gem.

I totally recommend this hotel...and this website was really such an asset to me finding this place.

I spent 2 weeks at Hotel Rembrandt during june/july. The description here is very accurate. The location is great, very central; short walk to Rue Mexique, the beach, the port and the medina. The room was a nice size, with a desk, armchair, and good sized closet. The bathroom was a good size and clean.

My only complaints are that the bed was a bit stiff, and as the description says, street facing rooms get alot of noise from revelers at night. Closing the window and the curtains cuts quite a bit of this noise, but it is still there. A pool facing room would be much more comfortable.

The room had an in-wall air conditioning unit (temp controlled) with remote that worked quite well, and kept the room comfortable during the night despite the window being closed.

Breakfast was good, I liked several of the pastries. I usually got there right near the end of breakfast service, and still got some that I liked. It wasn't gourmet, but it was sufficient and convenient.

I wouldn't hesitate to go there again, but I would definitely ask for a pool facing room.
