Hotel Tanjah Flandria is located in the center of downtown Tangier, about a 10 minute walk from the old medina, and 15 minutes from the Port. (take a taxi here from the port, because the walk is uphill the whole way). Hotel Tanjah Flandria has a rooftop pool, and air conditioning. It’s a safe neighborhood and a great location for shopping and lounging in cafe’s. ( check out Cafe Univers just down the hill). Be aware that on weekends at the end of summer and just before ramadan wedding parades will drive by the hotel on Blvd. Moh. V honking thier horns at all hours of the night. The taxi stand across the street is an easy way to get to the airport.
